Singers Wanted for a Rock Concert!
Windham Theatre Guild invites singers and vocal performers to audition for a live concert celebrating the music of The Who, featuring selections from the iconic rock album Tommy along with additional favorites from the band’s catalog. The concert will feature multiple vocalists accompanied by a live rock ensemble, bringing the energy and sound of The Who’s music to the Burton Leavitt Theatre stage.
This is a music concert, not a theatrical production. There will be no acting, character portrayal, dialogue, costumes, choreography, or dramatic staging. The focus is entirely on the music, with an emphasis on strong vocals, musical expression, and ensemble performance. Windham Theatre Guild welcomes performers of all gender identities and expressions.
While The Who is a rock ensemble consisting of white cisgender males, we highly encourage performers of all races, cultural backgrounds, abilities, ages and gender identities to audition. Our goal is to build an inclusive ensemble where everyone feels safe, valued and empowered to do their best work.
Audition Information
We welcome singers of ages 18 and older with an interest in rock music and collaborative performance. All voice types are encouraged to audition. Previous rock or live performance experience is welcome but not required. Both solo and ensemble opportunities are available.
